23 Its The Chicago Popcorn Shops!

After attending mass in Quiapo Church for the first time with my hubby (a day before Black Nazarene's feast) and after a long walk shopping for lucky charms in Binondo, I convinced him to go SM Mall of Asia to have dinner. When we got there, we were not hungry at all. So we just walked around and suddenly he noticed this new store in the corner.. I said new, because, it the first we saw this in MOA. Its the Chicago Popcorn Shops! Am a bit hesitant to go thinking that its just an expensive popcorn. But I just found myself at their doorsteps. Haha! We were surprised. The store looks really, really good. Very homey, good choice of lighting, not too bright. Very clean and the crew is very friendly. She welcomed us and maybe she noticed that its our first time there, she introduced us to their different popcorn flavors and prepared some for us to taste too. It was really nice of her. =)

I love the almond caramel mix and my hubby liked the chocolate mix. The small tin can costs Php180 only. And they comes with a tin can. Great looking tin cans. See my experience below!

Me and my hubby is madly inlove now with these popcorns! Yeah, I know, we're kinda late, but its always better late than never, right?! The nut mix is heaven for me and the chocolate mix is gone in 5mins. lol! We will definitely go back and will try the other ones. Oh, did I mention that you can come back to refill your tin cans for only Php 110 instead of the original price? Super like!!

Visit their Facebook and like their page. They also have another store in Greenbelt3. I'm wondering if I can apply for a franchise. lol! I'm serious, I want to own one of their franchise here in the Philippines!

Waahh I love popcorn! And I love those chocolate flavored/coated ones. Will try this next time we're in MOA (Reminds me, tagal ko na pala di nakakabalik dun).

Wow this is something new (I'm from subic), but it's quite expensive! And I cant imagine eating chocolate popcorn. But it's just me, I don't really eat something sweet with my popcorn even the common caramel popcorn is not for me.. Hehe I'm so used to having cheese flavor.. Hehe. I usually buy those microwaveable popcorns, the kids love them. Hope to try this place too! ;-)

Their popocorn looks yummy, and I like that they use reusable cans for their popcorns. Visiting from Delight My Appetite: http://www.delightmyappetite.com/2012/01/a-sizzling-dinner-at-sizzlin-pepper-steak/
