2 Friday Lunch at TGI Friday's

It was last Friday (February 10, 2012) when we were in Cebu, when I realized I wanted my grumpy meet a friend of mine in Cebu. Since I have been telling stories already about my friend and have been mentioning her to him, he agreed  to me. So, we decided to have lunch at Ayala Center Mall. I'm always happy whenever my grumpy will be meeting my friends. He seldom joins me with my friends. He chooses people to go with. And he's literally up-front with me if he didn't want that person to be my friend. Haha! So, this time, I felt good that he seemed interested with this particular friend of mine. I didn't even heard anything like negative perceptions or any doubts while we were on our way to Ayala. He even chose which stuff toy to give to my friend's daughter. Nice noh?! I love my grumpy even more. lol

After the introducing part, hi's and hello's, my grumpy, being so quiet, just listened to me and my friend telling stories and catching up with each other. We haven't seen each other for 8 months that's why, we never ran out of things to talk about. From time to time, my grumpy would comment on our discussions and after that, he'll be quiet again. While the little Khish2 (my friend's daughter) is busy with her new pink teddy bear, we continued talking and laughing at most of our discussions while waiting for our food.

My Fave!! Friday's Pork Adobo
Friday's savory version of most beloved Filipino Adobo.
Pork marinated w/ spices and seasoning, slow-cooked to fell off the
bone tenderness. Served with steamed rice and corn on the cob. Php 435 

For my friend: Jack Daniel's Chicken & Shrimps
Juicy fire-grilled chicken breasts drizzeled with Jack Daniel's & some
crispy cajun -spiced shrimps  with more sauce for dipping.
Served with choice of mashed potato or rice and corn on the cob. Php 565

For the little lady: Chicken Fingers
Strips of chicken breast, battered and deep-fried, served with
crispy fries  & honey mustard dressing. Php 280

For my Grumpy: Jack Daniel's Half Rack Ribs & Shrimps
Half rack of cajun-spiced baby back pork, fire-grilled & glazed
with Jack Daniel's sauce. Added with butterfilled shrimps, battered
and fried until crisp and served with choice of crispy fries or rice.

Strawberry Lemonade

I must say, this one, I was successful on getting my grumpy like my new friend. Haha! While we all enjoy the food, including little Khish2 who literally enjoyed TGI Friday's ketchup (Heins), we were all satisfied. We even had some left overs for take home.

Same as with other restaurants, you see the price of the food we ordered were a little higher compared to others, but I must say, this is all worth every of your penny. You won't have any regrets, I'm sure.
